Easter Weekend

Happy Easter! The kids had a great time this year and we were able to do lots with a lot of family! They started out by camping with their dad, grandpa and uncle. They were going to sleep under the stars, but were almost blown away in the night by the tornado-type winds and most ended up in the vehicles to sleep. Needless to say, the kids slept fine and the adults suffered! Luckily, I was snug at my mom's in a comfy, cozy bed after watching a movie with my mom and sisters!

We met them on the mountain in the morning, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relates for a big picnic/ egg hunt! My kids were super dirty from digging in the dirt and general frolicking among nature, but heck, they were having so much fun.

So, without further ado, here is Miss B, thoroughly annoyed that I stopped her mid-hunt!

Then on to the next set of family members for another picnic/egg hunt with more aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins etc. Aw, the life of a kid! Don't look too close at my kids! Aack! Day old hair-do's and chocolate/snot/dirt/doughnut smeared clothing don't lend themselves to perfectly prepared little beauties...but again, they were in heaven, so what can I say...really!

We spent the next few hours eating, reminiscing, riding horses, relaxing, eating, basking in the sun, and playing with kids. Good times.

And it was Great Gramps 82nd Bday so we celebrated with some carrot cake! Mmmmm
