The Belly

I had my dear apprentice, (aka Miss B) take some shots of the belly and I before the belly is no more (seen here at 38.5 weeks). She is really getting good at this picture taking business! I get the camera all ready and on the right settings and tell her what I want and where to focus and she snaps away. She's even starting to come up with her own ideas for poses. The only drawback is that the camera is a little heavy and big for her small hands and she has to take a break every once in awhile...but still....totally worth it.

Oh, how I love this warehouse....and I must say I am quite enjoying my long hair even though it has been driving me insane growing it out during the summer!!!

I even love the trashy inside of the warehouse.

It's quite odd being the subject of my own shoot...but I am so glad I got these pictures. I will love looking back on them. And a double kudos to Miss B for her extra effort after the shoot. We had to hike to the warehouse and when it was all done and we had hiked back to the truck, I realized I had left my chair (not pictured) back at the warehouse...without hesitation, B jumps up and said, "Don't worry Mom, I'll get it...you're pregnant." And off she ran with a smile and all! Those are the moments that make it all worth it. (Oh and when she answers the phone and hands it to me and the person on the other line gushes about her exceptional phone manners...love that too!) Thanks B! You are the best!
