The Party Breakdown

I took this picture on his actual birthday before we headed out to dinner and he looked so handsome, I had to post it!

Anyway, we went to eat at a Vietnamese Restaurant for the big night. He chose the place because of this AMAZING fried rice. It has little pieces of shrimp, beef, chicken, pork and all manner of other delectable goodness hidden within! Ahhhh, yum!

We also got Pho and were enjoying the evening on the patio with twinkle lights and mentioned to the waiter that it was Mr. C's birthday and he chose to get some fried rice. The waiter told the owner, who promptly came out with a huge grin telling us that Mr. C could have free fried rice the next time we came! So fun. Also, they brought us fried bananas and ice cream. They were so thrilled that a 7 year old would pick a Vietnamese place for his birthday, and more especially that it was their place! They even gave him a pack of stickers on the way out! What a night!

So, on to the party...here are some of the invites.

And the awesome party favors that I wanted for myself.
These mini Wii remotes get stuffed with little candies and you pop them out the top by pressing on the remote button on the bottom...super clever!

Goody bags all ready to go

The guests were able to play at different Wii stations including Mario Cart, (below...note the concentration) and Sports.

We also had some bowling and golf set up for those not playing the Wii.

The girls had much more patience with the golf than the boys.

Then it was on to presents...

and cupcakes...everyone had their own.

I made 7 mini cupcakes for Mr. C to blow out...all the kids then wanted a mini one....sheesh!

The End...it was very successful! I was excited to use all of my themed Wii ideas, and the kids had a blast!
