Milestones

I took good ol' Dennis out the other day for a snap to commemorate his 4 year old state....
He told me he feels older and taller already.

This is as good as I could get, although it very accurately describes the boy.

I tried about an hour later and captured one much better I believe.

Q happened upon his 8 month mark on the very same day as Dennis' birthday. He is a sweetie...a tad hyperactive, but still sweet. And he adores crawling all over the place with his tongue hanging out like so.

We joke that he's our very own puppy. He crawls like a bulldog with his hands turned inward, his tongue is always out and slobbery, he likes his head rubbed and he follows you around with a big, goofy grin. I tell the other kids that is the exact reason we don't need a dog. We already have one!

In other news...

He loves to eat... baby food, grownup food or formula...and is very adept at holding a bottle with one hand.

He can also hold a bottle in one hand and rub his eye with the other...I know, the skills......

And then he of course, as I mentioned above, is a great mover. He can crawl through tight squeezes, loves to crawl over things, into things (like laundry baskets full of clothes), up stairs, over people, through grass and uphill. He also has 2 bottom teeth.
