It is always crazy trying to get my own family's pictures done, but we had some good friends come along and help out and I think they turned out mighty fine. I wanted to do a 50's inspired shoot (yes, I am a nerd) and it got busy and I couldn't find all of the time-period outfits I was thinking of...so I ended up with a slight nod to the 50's instead, but that's okay...they are fun nonetheless. I was still able to sneak in cuffed jeans, tennis shoes, skinny jeans, ballet flats, cardigans, and a cute little high-waisted checkered number for Miss B...so all is well. I really, really wanted to try pin curls, bright red lipstick and fake eyelashes...but alas, I got too busy...and it didn't happen. Another year I suppose. Especially if I can find a vintage 50's polka-dot dress... and a classic car might help too...

always adorable...your oldest TOTALLY has your hubby's smile.
ReplyDeleteI'm just curious...what were you going to have the hubs wear that was 50's inspired??? I'm just trying to picture Rick being a good sport about that, and it's just not happening!
Ahh, Lou, look at you! You look gorgeous! The family looks great, too! I love the new color and highlights in your hair... DEAD SEXY!!!
