The Cabin

We visit The Cabin frequently.  It must be capitalized because it is Thee Cabin.  The one that we go to.  The one where we meet up with family and cousins multiple times a year to enjoy each other and the outdoors and s'mores and Grandpa singing around the campfire and dirt. We visited again over Labor Day weekend.

There are a plethora of swinging contraptions, kid-made forts and lots of wide open spaces to keep the kidlets occupied.

Me and Q went on a little nature walk one day while Daddy was fishing.  We found some cow pies, flowers, bushes, trees, cows and water.

We caught up with Dad...and Q was intrigued with the fish, but not enough to touch it.
And we had the First Annual Cabin Play this year.  The kiddies performed a rousing rendition of Rindercella.  There were even a couple of brugly others and one fep-stather. Rindercella wore a gown of trash bags for the bancy fall.  It was to die for.

Miss B played the Prandsome Hince.  Dennis was a guest at the bancy fall.  Mr. C was too shy to participate.  He has thee best laugh though, so he made for a fabulous audience member.

We all learned that if you ever go to a bancy fall and want to have a pransom hince loll in fove with you, don't forget to slop your dripper!

  1. Once again, we miss Grandpa singing, new traditions!! Dang! Why don't you guys plan your holidays around ours? We were up over the 4th, but our stay was much less eventful. You guys have very creative kids and cousins. I can't wait to let my kids join in the fun!! If everyone, drama teen girls included, isn't too old and over all the fun! :)
