More Idaho

With all the craziness that comes with summer, I never got to finish recording our Idaho adventures...but... finally I am ready.  It really was so fun.  We all had a blast and want to move to Idaho.

We went swimming, played on playgrounds,

had pizza and root beer in the park,

honed our fencing skills,

played outside,

went to a fish hatchery and fed the fish,

( the fish totally jump as you walk by because they are excited for food...crazy)

drove for hours on a bumpy dirt road to find a beautiful river in a canyon for some of us to swim in and some of us to fish in (if you look close you can see the fisherman),

fed 14 people with two giant 2-lb burgers, onion rings, ice cream and tasty fries and drank a fabulous cherry ironport at Big Jud's.  (Have any of you had an ironport before....or a 2-lb burger for that matter? )

and drove a lot.

In fact for the Idaho/Yellowstone trip we drove 2,440 miles (not counting excursions once we were there)...1,075 of that I drove by myself (obviously with the four kidlets in tow).  Phew!  We all got very good at entertaining ourselves in the car.  Lots of singing and reading and books on tape and snacks and coloring and talking.  And of course there wasn't one ounce of fighting or bickering or whining because I have angel-children who are perfect in every way.

Btw... you can't move to Idaho unless it's closer to St. George... ;)

  3. Hmmm I thought you guys wanted to move to Pittsburgh for two years...my feelings are now hurt for the dishonesty. That is one big hamburger, but 14 people on 2....AMAZING.

  4. Oh we LOVE Big Judd's. It's too much fun there. C ate the pounder last summer when we were there. We've been a couple of times in the last few years. Love the black licorice ice cream. Mmmm
