We had visitors last weekend. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law and their family. It was so fun. We ate lots of good, good food (as usual...I know I'm always talking about food, but alas, I love it) and just hung out. We adults commented on how much more fun it was before we had eight kids combined. Well maybe not more fun, but definitely less chaotic and we could just talk and lounge around and we could use our normal voices, not the voices you use when you're trying to talk over screeching children. But then again, what fun would life be without the kiddies? Chaotic or not, they add...especially to the holidays.
Anyway, we went out to take some family pictures whilst they were here. We got some keepers I think.
Little Miss wasn't feeling good and was having a rough time, but after it was all said and done I think I got more pictures of her than anyone. Especially after we ate lunch and had a break and then went back for more. She was all smiles and happiness then. And so was I.
This particular grin may or may not have come at the mention of a certain *cough* girl *cough cough*. And I must add that the girl likes him and is chasing him....just to make things perfectly clear.
I just looked over these while listening to some good music and seriously got teary-eyed. What a nerd. Pictures are always better when viewed with inspiring music. Try it. I dare you not to get goosebumps.
I love my family. Even though this is my husband's sister and her family...they are my family. I love watching all of my nieces and nephews grow and develop their own little selves. Life is good.
And now I have to go get rid of this lump in my throat...
Hey, what fun pictures. They look great. Little K is too cute.
