Falls

I met up with my friend Bettijo and her family at the Arizona Falls recently for a photo session.  Bettijo wanted something different and funky and loved the falls.  The day of the session was overcast, cold and windy...making standing in between two waterfalls very chilly, quite misty, very wet, even more chilly and really, really loud.  It was a little difficult to keep the kids happy (we had blankets for them in between takes) and my camera semi-dry (extra family members held jackets to shield me and my camera from the mist).  Also, it was extremely hard to hear anything once you were right by the falls, making it almost impossible to give my subjects instructions.  It was pretty exhausting, especially for the family.  Luckily I was toasty in a sweater, jacket and boots.  My boots were soaked by the end of the night from tromping through puddles, but boy, oh boy...what an adventure!

These girls are full of personality...so it was great to catch some sassy shots.   Their very own poses by the way. :)

  1. WOW! I can't believe you caught some really good shots -- the shoot conditions were SO terrible that I really wasn't very optimistic. Looks good so far... and very excited to see the rest. THANK YOU!! --bettijo
