I spent an afternoon with a brand new little girl and her doting family. Grandma was her personal space heater controller. Mom kept her sleepy, content and tucked into position, as well as keeping her adorned with bows and bracelets. Dad got up the night before for all feedings and changings and burpings, just so mom would be fresh for the shoot. I helped pat her back to sleep, hold positions, and set up shots. It always amazes me how much of a group effort newborn photos are. I get a work out every time. But I cannot get over that fresh baby smell and those tiny squeaks and grunts. I also love how you can see personalities even at such a new age. This little sweetheart liked to be stretched out, especially her left leg...she consistently preferred to have it straight instead of tucked. I think she was ready to be out, meet the world and stretch out those limbs. What a sweetheart.
What a beautiful family! I love her stretching pose! And what cute accessories! The bows, the bracelets, the booties! The last pic with the family has beautiful color and that nice warm, glowy yellow you are famous for :O)
