Small, Medium and Large

For Fall Break, we went with some friends to a fun train park and had a picnic.  It was a nice day and only a tad hot.  We bought tickets at the depot and then rode on a little train around the park and Q literally squealed with glee.  I had Miss B hang on to him tight so he wouldn't plunk right over the edge in his excitement.  He especially loved driving through the tunnel.

After that the kiddies rode on the carousel.  Mr. C and his friend rode in the stationary covered wagon.  I don't know if that's the cool place to ride on a carousel or what (seems boring to me), but he begged and begged to ride again because it was "sooooo relaxing".  Whatever floats his boat I guess.

Next we toured a real train, including a presidential cabin car.  It was so cool.  I loved the tiny rooms, kitchen and bathtub.  I can't believe meals could me made in the kitchen.  It was completely diminutive.

Next we visited the model train museum.  It was so stinking cool.  Q and Dennis made laps around the place chasing trains on the ceiling or in displays.  Miss B and I marveled at all the mini masterpieces.

Then Q had to take all of us for a "ride" on the little trolley.  I had to practically tear him away.

On our way home I asked if they liked the small, medium or large train better.  The boys said they liked riding on the medium train.  I loved the big train and Miss B loved the small, model trains.  It's always nice when there's something for everyone.
