Paradise

There aren't too many things better than a bunch of rusty vehicles, vintage gas tanks, corrugated metal buildings, retro bicycles, and all manner of rundown and beat up goodness, chalk full of texture and character.  And I found them all in ONE place just waiting for me smack dab in The Middle of Nowhere. I have been wanting to visit Eldorado Canyon near Nelson, Nevada for quite some time, and I finally made it happen.  I stopped there on my way home from Christmas Break with the four kidlets.  My mother (bless her soul), sister and my sister's family joined us for a photo extravaganza.  My mom held purses and bags, corralled kids and bribed them with potato chips and donuts.  It was a fun adventure for all.  

Now not to confuse anyone, but Q's name actually starts with an S.  Hence the giant S and why he was so thrilled to find it laying on the ground just waiting for him to come walking by.  He's at that awkward-smile-really-looks-like-a-pained-grimace stage...so I was happy for a few semi non-crazed looking faces.

'Twas a dream.  And a bit chilly.  But mostly just plain dreamy.
