Beautiful Mom: Abby

“Mothers observe all, absorb all, give all, forgive all, offer all, suffer all, feel all, heal all, hope for all, pray for all.  But most of all, mothers love always.” ~Richelle E. Goodrich

What is your favorite motherhood moment?

My favorite motherhood moment is  when my kids play together and get along.  I love the way my girls play store and restaurant and serve me their fake food creations and say " here Miss"!  Love hearing them laugh and watch the 3 stooges, belly laughs are the best!

What is your favorite time spent with your kids?

My favorite time is bedtime when I can lay down and talk with them each about their day and hear them say their prayers.  I love hearing their sweet voices and in the dark of night feeling peace and quiet.

What is your least favorite chore?

My least favorite chore is dishes.  The husband usually takes this over for me:) could be the whole pregnancy thing and I just haven't done them for awhile. Maybe I will take over again soon:)

What inspires you?

The thing that inspires me is music.  I love to hear a good message via song and usually am touched to tears quite often. This changes my mood in an instant and I want to do better as a person and mom!

What is your go-to dinner?

Our favorite go to dinner is enchiladas without the green things- green chilis:)  I usually try to sneak some in anyways.  My favorite recipe is a black bean soup in crock pot.

Black Bean Soup

3-4 chicken breasts
1 can black beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can corn
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 brick cream cheese

Cook throughout the day about 6 hours and serve with cheese, sour cream, and chips

Do you have any cleaning/organizational/motherhood tips?

Cleaning organizing tip- I am a little ADD with this because I go from one task like laundry and get distracted to another like organizing the medicine cabinet.  I would say doing one room at a time works well, and getting my kids involved to put things away correctly is best. Then the room can stay that way for at least a  few days :) I also think working together with music on makes it more fun!
