Bridal Session in Beautiful Southern Utah

My oldest nephew got married recently.  So crazy because he was just barely a tiny tot.  Plus that means my kids' weddings are coming up in the not-too-distant future.  Weird.  Anyway...I met him and his beautiful bride in the most gorgeous location for portraits the day before their wedding.  I was seriously blown away by the beauty of the surroundings.

We set the bride up on top of a cliff for the first look, so that when the groom arrived, he would see her standing in her beautiful dress on top of the world...her veil blowing in the wind.  It was completely awesome and totally dramatic.  Just like I planned. :)  He bounded up the hillside at warp speed with a giant grin on his face the whole time.  She was literally glowing, with the setting sun behind her and I admit I got a little emotional.  After that, I had the best time taking pictures of a happy, beautiful couple in an amazing location.

(She was positioned on top of the smaller hill/cliff pictured above.)

We had such a great time.  It was a gorgeous evening...passersby were oohing and ahhing from the trails and campsites below.  They even cheered and clapped when we finished. :)

Watch for their wedding photos next...
