Q is growing up my friends. He is going to Kindergarten in the fall. So I have been trying to make an effort to do more fun things with him whilst I still can. I was therefore very excited to go on his preschool field trip to the local zoo. It was a very laid back field trip and one where we could wander wherever we liked. His teacher put together an animal scavenger hunt and we meandered along the trail, crossing off animals as we found them. It was a glorious day and we had such fun together. We even got to feed lory parrots, pet sting rays and feed a giraffe (Q's hand was licked thoroughly). And we took some on-location photos for Fly Little Guy. It was a very fine day. I sure will miss this creative ball of energy come fall.
Oh man I love those last two.
ReplyDeletePut that on our "Things to do" list for when I come down. I'll come down when it's in the 70ish degree weather. Does that ever happen?
ReplyDeleteSounds good. And once on awhile it hits 70. We all get out coats out! ;)
DeleteWow that looks like a blast!
