A Spring Wedding

I'm finally getting around to posting my nephew's wedding.  It was wonderful to catch up with family and celebrate with the newlyweds.

I happened to catch a shot of a hot air balloon flying over the temple as we were headed into the ceremony.  'Twas perfect timing. :)

My sister-in-law put together the cutest picnic-type luncheon with personal box lunches for each guest.  I was soo excited.  They were adorable and so yummy.  Each box held a sandwich wrapped in wax paper, a pasta salad (or jello for the kids), chips, fruit and a giant chocolate chip cookie.  We also each had our own Martinellis apple juice and a bottled water.  It was perfect because we didn't have to wait in long lines to get our food...it was already there, complete with napkins, silverware and condiments.

The reception was beautiful.  It was held outdoors under gorgeous trees.  They decorated with hydrangeas, birds, nests and candy eggs (fitting for a spring wedding...and yes I know it's pretty much fall by now).  Guests were treated to a fabulous array of chocolate fondue items, which of course the kids loved.  I was most excited about the pre-toasted marshmallows. Yummy.

My two accident-prone boys were a wreck! Dennis had a face-on collision with a water bottle (strangest accident yet) and had a major black eye all weekend.  He could barely open it, it was so swollen.  Then the next day, Q got some road rash on his chin while playing with cousins.  Never a dull moment.  Later, my niece broke her leg.  It was quite the weekend!
