Location Scouting

I've been location scouting and trying like crazy to find a new spot.  I've gone out 3 separate times driving through the desert and tromping with a baby, camera, crate and sweating like a beast trying to find a good spot, set up ANNNND get decent pictures of a one-year old all by myself. Not an easy task I tell you...but I did finally end up with some good photos. I also left a little ladder way out in the hinterlands and forgot about it for four days.  Luckily it was still there when I went back for it.  Which is good because it is turquoise and I really love it.

For the last set of photos, I took Q and Dennis to help haul stuff and get the babe to smile, which was a lifesaver and genius of me! And we found the cutest little wooden and worn maraca out in the desert...it was perfection for a prop and to keep him entertained.  What a cute babe he is too.  And what a glorious location...I shall be back for sure.
