To Do List and the Zoo

Today as May is winding up and I am trying desperately to keep my head above water, I have crossed quite a few things off my to-do list, which is long and never ending.  I worked in the yard for a bit, did dishes and swept and mopped.  I cleaned the kitchen, did three loads of laundry, cleaned the master bathroom, made my bed, folded some laundry, made an appointment and packed for a weekend adventure that WP and I are going on.  I also printed off new chore charts and worked on a t-shirt design for this years Girls Camp.  Annnd I edited and blogged a bit in my effort to catch up! So here's to our zoo adventure from March:

One day I took the two youngest boys to the zoo.  It was such a fun day with the three of us.  It was a tad toasty, but not too bad.   WP LOVED the new baby lion and they roared at each other through the was seriously so adorable.  Q helped direct us where we needed to go as he loves maps and is always the designated map guy.  Our favorites were the kangaroos, parrots, llama and giraffe along with playing in the dirt.  Lunch was a big hit too...especially the chocolate covered donuts!  Then we came home and crashed because zoo days do that to you...they just suck the energy right out.

  1. Kangaroos?! I don't think I have ever seen kangaroos at the zoo. I am jealous of you... (But that's nothing new. ;)

  2. If you are heading to Wilmington, Delaware, any time soon then you should definitely check out the Brandywine Zoo. This zoo is made up of 13 acres that are landscaped and beautiful along the Brandywine River. Nadel Paris
